The Linesider: Doc Cavalier’s Bertram; The Publisher Named For Her

The Linesider was Doc Cavalier’s Bertram, tied up at the dock. He named a publishing company after her: Linesider Productions, the house imprint for the 1960s garage and psychedelic sides cut at Trod Nossel in Wallingford. The boat is gone. The contracts are not.
Doc was an avid boater and fisherman. He learned it from his father, and later took his sons out the same way, including trips that left at the crack of dawn. The Linesider was part of the family, and he put her name on the publishing company.
The Wildweeds were one of the first bands Doc Cavalier managed. “I’m Dreaming” is one of the sides we control from that run, played by real humans in the ’60s, not generated.
