We’re so proud of our longtime friend and artist Mike DelGuidice.
The alliance started when he submitted an original song called "Daydream" to us in the mid-90s. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Mike, and we’re honored to represent both his music catalog and live performances through our concert division.
The song catalog was the inspiration and catalyst for his original live shows long before COVID made online concerts popular, as well as his other live original performances, including opening for Billy Joel at the final concert at the original Nassau Coliseum. After opening with his originals, "Loving Arms," "Until The End," and "One Step At A Time," he joined Billy and the band on "Until The Night," "Goodnight Saigon," and many others.
It’s been amazing to watch his journey. Now he’s opened Live On The Porch, his own Long Island venue in Smithtown, NY, dedicated to original music and named after his long-running online live concert series that began more than a decade ago (and became especially meaningful during the pandemic). The intimate space gives singer-songwriters and original artists a true home, exactly the kind of platform Mike has always championed.
The venue is already creating special moments. On July 23, Kevin James made a surprise appearance, and Mike has said he hopes Billy Joel might one day drop by for a cameo of his own.
His pandemic-era release, Mask Production (a play on words), is a 26-song collection of both studio and live recordings of his originals.
Huge congratulations to Mike on this exciting new chapter. His catalog is available for licensing.
