Trod Nossel Productions is an historic music industry institution and brand, first established in 1962 as Syncron Sound Studios (manufacturer of the rare, Syncron microphones AU7-A, AU7-B and S10), before expanding and changing the name to Trod Nossel in 1966 by local dentist, Dr. Thomas J. Cavalier. Cavalier, with a love for people and music, sought first to manage up-and-coming local music acts such as The Shags, Wildweeds, Pulse and US69. Back in the 1960s, our 1200 square foot live room doubled as a TV studio utilized by The Producers, a Trod-owned television production company.  The studio was used by acting hopefuls such as Yale Drama School's, Henry Winkler, who filmed an anti-littering public service announcement as garbage was dumped on him from the catwalk above - one of his earliest acting debuts.  Trod Nossel is a recording industry icon and coined by the media as one of the longest running recording studios of its kind in the world with its rich history and eclectic client list. in 2019 the company began its rebranding and evolved strictly to music rights, publishing & licensing, artist management & [Miracle} concerts.  The music catalog created by Doc Cavalier dates as far back in history as the recording studio.

Housed by several subsidiary publishing companies under the Trod Nossel umbrella such as Rohm Music, Obsessive Songs, Poison Ring Productions, QVQ Music, Tom Rob Music, Aries Productions, Trod Nossel Productions Music, 1 Music, Skye Music and our signature psychedelic 60s garage rock publisher, Linesider Music Productions (named after Founder, Doc Cavalier's, beloved Bertram), our catalog is comprised of some of the most authentic songs available for licensing; showcasing our collection of over 1,200 titles; a culmination of the talents of over 150 writers. Each title genuinely represents the era in which it was created.  We are part of a group of a rare community of

publishers that still exist with historical music assets such as this; something that cannot be duplicated, barring owning a time machine to go back and create music through the decades (not yet!). Songs from our catalog can be heard in many TV, streaming series’, commercials, feature films such as HBO, Disney, Hulu, Paramount, Netflix, Peacock, SciFi Channel, online magazines, webcasts, advertising campaigns, Warner Brothers Productions, several independent films and many more.

Our titles contain many different genres, tempos and moods and span across the decades beginning in the mid 60s, right through to the current and contemporary sound of today. Several writers' careers were launched by our catalog such as Al Anderson (Trisha Yearwood, NRBQ, etc.), and rock icons like Cub Koda's (Smokin' In The Boys Room) titles are controlled by our company, QVQ Music. Michael DelGuidice of Billy Joel's band and touring performer in his own right, also a songwriter, is among our cast of writers.

Besides our publishing we also recorded live, own and control numerous master recordings, including the 25 popular (but never released) Trod Nossel Concert Series, when fledgling bands in the 70s did radio tours and concerts for a live audience in our main sound studio such as Fleetwood Mac, Chick Corea and Steppenwolf.

Trod Nossel also owns and controls several vintage and current record labels in which both in-house artists under our management, and others we publish, have had releases on.  Labels include Poison Ring Records, MCS Records, Miracle Records, TNA Records, Simple Records, Big Sound Records and others.

Thousands of recording clients have come through our recording studio, and our Artist Management division has been a catalyst for launching many artists' careers. We currently represent artists in various capacities.  Trod Nossel has inspired countless careers in engineering, production and other music industry-related roles that have been launched and cultivated through our affiliations, various accredited programs and staff training.

Our affiliated concert division, Miracle Concerts, was originally created as a small record label for specific releases (MCS Records), as well as a booking agency for live performances by our own acts under the artist managment branch since the 60s. In the 90s our middle division booked acts like Queen Latifah, Gilbert Godfried, The Spindoctors, and newcomers as college openers like Ellen DeGeneres along with the local division. Today, Miracle Concerts books national acts such as Michael DelGuidice (Billy Joel) with his supporting band, Big Shot, Decadia, Alex Shillo and several others. Production partner, SCL Sound, owned and operated by owner Scott LaRochelle, is Miracle Concerts' go-to international production house for its live events.
