The first one is Cub Koda's new CD, Box Lunch, out on TNA Records.  Those of you out there may remember Cub Koda from his Brownsville Station days.  They had the mega hit/anthem "Smokin' In The Boys Room." Well Cub is back with his first all acoustic album, but the big thing that makes this album hot is all the great blues work on it.  Back to the blues with Cub Koda.  At times you'd swear you were listening to Lightnin' Hopkins or one of the old greats.  At others you'd think you were listening to Bob Dylan.  This is a big departure for Cub Koda, but it's well worth it.  He proves that he can honestly play any style of music and do it tastefully.   Our favorite track is "We Were Crazy Back Then," that almost sounds a little like it was Randy Newman influenced. Good going Cub.
