The Harry Fox Agency

Trod Nossel Signs Its Publishing Catalog With
THE HARRY FOX AGENCY

Trod Nossel has placed portions of its publishing catalog with the Harry Fox Agency.  Licensing great titles such as, "No Good To Cry," and many others, may now be easily licensed quickly and easily at the Harry Fox website.

It is a work in progress, so only the first 50-100 titles have been assigned.  We have approximately 800 titles dating as far back as 1965 when the Shags first published their music under our publishing company, Linesider Music, in which Founder, Doc Cavalier, named after his beloved Bertram, "The Linesider."

Titles from other publishing subsidiaries, including artists over the years from Nelsen Adelard, The Wildweeds, The Shags, to Howard Jeffrey, Cavalier and Darlene D and everyone in between, will be readily available for licensing by early 2009.

New titles from these artists and some newcomers will also be available as Trod Nossel is in the process of inking some new publishing deals with some rising star songwriters.

More to come on that.  Stay tuned...

STAFF PROFILE

Veteran Engineer, Moe Robitaille, Returns to Trod Nossel Studios!

Moe Robitaille

MOE ROBITAILLE

It is with great pleasure that Trod Nossel Studios welcomes back veteran engineer, Moe Robitaille, to the current staff of engineering talent.

Moe was off on hiatus the last 2 years or so building a house amongst other things, but he could not stay away from engineering too long.  His desire to whet his appetite for music and production, and to serve our valued clients was too strong.

For those of you who don't know, Moe brings with him almost two decades of experience in the studio.  He was trained first-hand by Trod's former 30+ year Chief Engineer, Richard P. Robinson, and has been around since the days of splicing tape.  With his historical knowledge of analog and digital, there is no project Moe can't undertake.

Aside from training with Richard and Rob Cavalier and recording our clientele, he worked directly for, and with, our mentor and founder, Doc Cavalier.  Together they produced in-house productions for the likes of Andrew Loog Oldham and Cub Koda, and was an integral part of the production and transfer of the historical concert series that took place at our studio in the 70s (more to come on that).

In a business that is sometimes competitive and cut-throat, a great engineer that is also a great guy is sometimes hard to come by.  However, as stated recently by Andrew Loog Oldham, "... he's one of the good guys...".  We couldn't agree more.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Moe back.  He is available for session work from tracking, to mixing and mastering beginning mid November 2008.
