"Together We Can" Tour, with Special Guest, SIFA Choir

Sifa ChoirSIFA is a Swahili word meaning Praise, and the SIFA Choir is an incredibly talented choir of orphaned children from Uganda. The choir began touring the states last month on the "Together We Can" tour to help raise awareness and money for the Glory Children City Project in Masaka, Uganda.

We're honored we could be a part of such a worthwhile effort. Keep an eye out for a more in-depth look at the SIFA Choir and the "Together We Can Change the World" Project in our next newsletter.

Copyright Chaos

Copyright Chaos

It's been awhile since the days of the Tune Inn, but punk is not dead in New Haven... Copyright Chaos is keeping it alive, keeping it new, and keeping it angry. With a six track dent in their new project, keep an ear out for the full length later this year! Oi!Oi!Oi!

The ConnChords

The ConnChords are the longest running all-female a cappella group from Connecticut College. They tracked the majority of their album during a marathon week of non-stop recording over their spring break; these girls work hard and it definitely shows.
ConnChords
With a diverse repertoire of pop favorites, soul classics and all-original arrangements, the ConnChords are a talented bunch. Their new CD is slated for a Fall '08 release.

Soul Reapin' 3

Soul Reapin' 3Only a year old and this psychobilly band is already making a name for themselves all over the Northeast. What is psychobilly, you ask? Only the slightly twisted offspring of Punk Rock and Rockabilly... Fast cars, fast women, and maybe even some fast zombies for good measure. Gritty guitar riffs and slamming upright bass will prove definitively, that "The Dead Can Dance."

The SOBs

The Society of Orpheus and Bacchus, or the SOBs as they're affectionately known, come to us from Yale and also happen to be the longest running non-senior a cappella SOBsgroup in the country with nearly 70 years of music behind them. They take their name from Orpheus, minstrel to the Greek Gods, and Bacchus, the god of revelry, so you know they have a good time. The SOBs are currently working on their most recent album which contains everything from Yale songs to standards, and even some rock and roll.
