 PICASSO CT
Heavyweights Photo: Broken Fence Photography
Picasso Perfecto has a
story to tell, and in doing so, plans to influence and mold our
youth.
Picasso started reading up on the music
business during his time of being incarcerated for a 5-year
duration. Due to a dark past he never got the chance to pursue
his passion; music. That has all changed.
"In
2003, I started recording at Trod Nossel Studios. Trod Nossel
enhanced my sound and gave me a comfortable atmosphere to record in.
I have recorded two albums there and have walked out the door with a
handful of recordings that most would consider to be hits. My
second album, called, 'My Testimony, I Changed My Life,' was
directed towards the violence going on in the inner city streets.
Other songs include, 'Mothers Cry,' 'Stop,' and my personal
favorite, 'Point Blank Range.'"
Picasso's mission statement includes giving
a message to the inner city youth that there is hope, and violence is
not the answer. "I am a firm believer that the youth will receive
this message coming from someone such as myself who has been
violent, who has stood on the corner, and who has
lived 5 years of his life behind prison walls," says Picasso.
he further puports, "This is my Testimony, I Changed My Life."
And he has.
Picasso is looking for help spreading this
message and with this project. "What's the point of living if
you can't help someone?" For more information, visit www.myspace.com/ctheavyweights,

NEW STUFF COMING SOON
A lot of exciting changes have already
taken place with the new year at Trod Nossel, and there are more
things happening here in the coming months. To name a few: some new
equipment, remodeling (don't worry, this won't affect the sound we
are famous for, or the historic vibe!), as well as a complete
website overhaul, and
in-house projects are in the works...and the list goes
on!
Stay tuned...
