• Pro Tools | HD audio recording—totally computer based—offers extreme flexibility which cannot be obtained using standard tape-based recording. Cut, paste, repeat, loop, fly-in, mix, eq, and much more is available for the discerning artist and/or producer.

• Edits between takes of ADAT and Hi-8 tape formats, not usually possible or too time consuming, can be accomplished.  And, 2" analog can be transferred to Pro Tools maintaining analog warmth because of its high bit-rate quality.

• Engineer/Producer Roger Nichols put Pro Tools at #1 of his "favorite things" list—(EQ magazine)—and Lenny Kravitz has recorded and mixed CDs completely using Pro Tools.

We have been working on this project for three years intermittently.   I'm glad it took this long to get to the editing.  Using the Pro Tools system made the editing much more flexible and efficient.  I believe it has helped us produce a higher quality recording in much shorter time.  Rich has an excellent grasp of the system's capabilities.

Flexibility is the main thrust of Pro Tools.  It truly gives the creator total shaping capabilities over their art form.  I've never been so enamoured with such a musical tool for the years that I've been in this field.  It begs to be used—so you do.
