CD Mastering:
CD-R is the accepted method of conveying your music masters to a CD
plant for replication. It is the most direct path from mastering to a completed CD order.
- The Advantages: You can audition your master on your own equipment as a final check before
replication. Using CD-r eliminates the older 1630 format, cutting tape errors and the
additional time and expense of P-Q subcoding.
-
- CD Master For Home Tape
Duplication: You can run tape duplications on your
own home system at your convenience from your CD-r just like any
tape you would make from a CD.
-
- Archiving Valuable Records or
Tapes Unavailable on CD: You can bring your old
records in for transfer to CD-r. (Cleanup and de-clicking will require additional
mastering time).
-
- Professional Presentation to
Broadcast Facilities: Many stations will not accept a
cassette for airplay, preferring the CD format.
-
- Archiving And Safety Copies Of
Master Mixes: The CD format has proven to be error
free and very long lasting. CD-r's can be easily made from edited, mastered, sequenced DAT
tapes. Other sources and formats can be handled also. You can produce a master from your
mixed DAT tapes that is ready to be replicated in our Production Suite.
